William Wood Dunkirk Watch

July 31, 20241 min read

William Wood introduces the Dunkirk Watch (£3995), meticulously crafted in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. This timepiece features the Swiss-Made Sellita Group SW220 Premium Top Grade Movement, offering unparalleled precision with an accuracy of +/-4 sec/day up to +/- 15 sec/day, a 38-hour power reserve, 26 jewels, and 28,800 beats per hour. The 42mm case, with a 13mm thickness and 20mm lug width, is crafted from CuSn8 grade bronze, designed to patina over time. Red piping inspired by the Massey Shaw Boat’s engine room adorns the sides, while the caseback features an illustration of Operation Dynamo. The dial, inspired by the Massey Shaw’s twin telegraphs, uses aged champagne Super-LumiNova and illuminates “STOP” and “LONDON” in red.
